Straight Line’s preferred decking product is Timbertech. TimberTech is a low maintenance composite decking. The planks are made out of high quality raw materials that are blended with UV protection for a long-lasting deck that will stand up to our California weather. Straight Line recommends TimberTech’s Earthwood Evolution for long-lasting scratch, fade and stain resistant decking. This product has a warm, natural hardwood style with authentic wood grain, protected from the elements by a poly shell. TimberTech’s Earthwood Evolution is perfect for your custom deck and has a 25 year Fade and Stain Warranty. Features of the Earthwood Evolution Decking include:
- Fully protective poly cap engineered to resist fading, scratches and stains
- 25-year Fade and Stain Warranty
We also recommend TimberTech’s TwinFinish® Plank. The TwinFinish plank is a two sided composite decking plank. The plank’s VertiGrain side makes an attractive and slip-resistance walking surface, and the flip side’s serrated texture is the perfect contrast for stand-out deck built-ins.
Another common decking product is genuine redwood decking. Redwood offers a natural durability, and is one of the premier options for your outdoor deck. We work with con-common, or construction common, B Grade and select heart redwood decking. Con-common is a mixture of heartwood and sapwood, perfect for your decking project. Sap B Grade is a quality redwood that has a few small knots but preserves the beauty and appearance of this beautiful wood. Select heart is a premium grade with limited knots, commonly used for decking rails and and trim. A redwood deck is known for its classic appearance, low-maintenance needs, comfort, and fire safety. It is also an all natural, renewable source that only requires sun and water for its “production”, making it one of the most eco-friendly choices around.
Another decking solution is Trex Decking. Trex Decking offers rich earth tones with natural looking wood patterns that will last for decades.
